Oppo has unveiled the Reno 13A smartphone

Oppo has expanded its smartphone lineup in Japan by introducing the Reno 13A model. The novelty became available at the same time as the more expensive Reno 14 5G and is positioned as an affordable but functional solution.
Screen, camera and case protection
Oppo Reno 13A features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1200 nits of brightness. The AGC Dragontrail STAR2 protective glass and in-screen fingerprint scanner make it reliable and easy to use.
The front camera has 32MP resolution, and there are three modules on the back: a 50MP main camera with optical stabilization, an 8MP (112°) wide-angle camera and a 2MP macro lens.
Performance and memory
The smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset. It is complemented by 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It also supports virtual RAM expansion up to 16GB and microSD card installation up to 1TB.

Battery, charging and system
The 5,800mAh battery supports 45W fast charging. The device runs ColorOS 15 based on Android 15.
Additional features and price
Other features include dual SIM + eSIM support, 5G, Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, USB-C, stereo speakers, and IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance. It’s 7.8mm thick and weighs 192g.
Oppo Reno 13A is essentially a localized version of the Reno 13F, which was previously released in other markets.
Release date and price
Pre-orders for the Reno 13A are already open in Japan. It will go on sale on June 26 at a price of 48,000 yen (about $330). The smartphone will be available in three colors: Charcoal Gray (dark gray), Ice Blue (blue), and Luminous Navy (navy).
